       Be it remembered that on the Day & Year within mentioned came
       Joseph Thomas Party to this Deed & acknowledged the Land and
       Premisses therein mentioned to be the right Title & Interest of the
       within mentioned Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns for Ever At the
       same time came Dorcas the Wife of the said Joseph Thomas being
       first privately Examined & out of the Hearing of her said Husband
       acknowledged her Right of Dower & Declared that she made her
       acknowledgment freely & willingly without being induced thereto
       by fear or ill Usage of her said Husband Acknowledged before Us the
       Subscribers Two of his Lordships Justices of Baltimore County

Ex.d      This Indenture made the twentieth Day of June in
       the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and forty five between
       John Boring and Sarah his Wife of Baltimore County of the
       one part and Alexander Lawson of Said County Merchant
       of the other part Witnesseth that the Said John Boring &
       Sarah his Wife for & in Consideration of Sixty Pounds Ster
       to them in hand paid by the Said Alexander Lawson the
       Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained
       Sold made over and Confirmed and by these presents do
       bargain Sell make over & Confirm unto the Said
       Alex.r Lawson all that parcell or Tract of Land called
       Maidens Choice Lying in Baltimore County containing
       according to the grant or Patent thereof two hundred ^Eighteen^ Acres
       more or less ^as also all that tract or parcell of Land lying in Baltimore County af.d called the Adventure containing according to the grant or patent thereof Two hundred Acres more or less^ together with all buildings Improvements proffits
       advantages & appurtenances to the Said two Tracts
       of Land and every of them belonging or appertaining & also
       all patents grants Deeds and Conveyances whatsoever
       concerning or relating to the Said Tracts of Land & every of
