620) afs.d and by the said Maccdowel conveyed to a certain Richard Geist and by Christopher Geist Son and Heir of said Richard Conveyed to the said William Seabrook and Jemina his Wife Sister to him the said Christopher together with all and Singular the Buildings Improvements and Appurtenances on the said Tract of Land called Pleasant Green being belonging and appertaining To have and to hold unto him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for Ever all the said Tract of Land called Pleasant Green with its Appurtenances and the said William Seabrook doth for himself and his Heirs Covenant and Agree with him the said Charles Carroll that he the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for Ever shall and may ^have^ hold Possess and Enjoy the said Tract of Land called Pleasant Green with its appurtenances well and sufficiently Warranted and Defended as well against him the said William Seabrook and his Heirs as against all manner Persons and Claims whatsoever In Witness whereof and the aforegoing Premisses the said Parties to these Presents have Interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the day and Year first above written Sealed & Delivered William Seabrook Seal In Presence of Sam.l Owings On the Back of the aforegoing Deed Darby Lux was thus Endorsed Viz.t Balt County fs Sep.r 4.th 1749 Then came before us Two of the Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County William Seabrook of said County and Zipporah his Wife and acknowledged the within Deed and the said Zipporah being privately Examined apart from the said Husband declared she did the same freely and Willingly without fear or Compulsion or ill Usage of her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure according to the Act in that case made and Provided Sam.l Owings Darby Lux (Rec.d) |
