56 heirs and Assigns that he and they shall and may have hold possess and Enjoy all and singular the premisses free and clear and freely clearly and absolutely Discharged from the Claim and Demand of him the said James Johnson and his heirs and all persons whatsoever claiming ^from^ by or under him or them and that he the said Ja.s Johnson for himself and his heirs all and singular the bargained premisses against himself and his heirs and every person and persons claiming from by or under him or them to the said Benj.a Tasker his heirs and Assigns will warrant and for ever Defend In Witness whereof the said James Johnson hath hereunto Set his hand and Seal the Day and year first above written Sealed and Delivered Ja.s Johnson in the presence of W.m Rogers April 1.st 1745 Then was the above Deed acknowledged Walter Dulany according to Law by James Johnson Party thereto before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Prov.l Court W.m Rogers Maryland fs On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst Viz.t Whereas James Johnson by the within Deed hath bargained and Sold the Land therein mentioned with the appurtenances unto M.r Benj.a Tasker ^the^ Younger of Annapolis Esq.r To have and to hold to me my heirs and assigns forever to the uses and purposes to be by me Expressed and Declared by (Indorsment) |
