       October the fourteenth One Thousand Seven hundred and
       forty Eight among other things Devise unto Mary the Wife of
       the said Nathaniel Rumney and to her Heirs One third part of a
       Tract or Parcel of Land lying in Prince Ge^or^ges County called
       Brothers Generosity Containing in whole five hundred and Eighty
       Seven Acres as may and doth appear by his Lordship the Lord
       Prop.rs Grant unto Johanna Croxall bearing Date the Twenty
       Ninth Day of September One Thousand Seven hundred and
       Forty five and by the said Johanna Croxall as well for her
       Natural Love and effection she had for the said Carroll Croxall
       (he being her Son) as for the Consideration of one hundred and
       Twenty two Pounds Current Mony to her paid or Secured to be
       paid Convey'd Confirm'd and made over unto the said James
       Carroll Croxall his Heirs & Assigns the said Tract of Land
       as may ^and will^ appear by a Deed bearing Date the thirtieth Day of
       May One Thousand Seven hundred and forty Seven And upon
       Record in the Provincial Office of this Province in Lib.r E I
       N.o 8 folios 311, 312, 313 and 314 Now this Indenture
       Witnesseth that the said Nathaniel Rumney and Mary his Wife
       for and in Consideration of the Sum of Thirty seven Pounds
       Ten Shillings Sterling Money to them in hand paid by the said
       Richard Croxall the Receipt they hereby acknowledge and
       thereof and of every part and Parcel thereof doth by these
       Presents for Ever Acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said
       Richard Croxall his Heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs hath given
       Granted Enfeoffed and Confirm'd and by these Presents the
       said Nathaniel Rumney and Mary his Wife doth Give Grant
       Bargain Sell Confirm and to all Intents and Purposes
       make Over unto the said Richard Croxall his Heirs &
       Assigns the said One third Part of the said above mentioned
       Tract of Land To have and to hold the said Bargained
       Land and Premisses with all the Appurtenances
