       unto the said Darby Lux his Heirs and Assigns for Ever
       to the only proper use and behoof of the said Darby Lux
       his Heirs and Assigns for ever and the said John Howard of
       himself and his Heirs the said before Granted Land and all
       and Singular other the Premisses with their and every of
       their Appurtenances unto him the said Darby Lux his
       Heirs and Assigns against him the said John Howard his
       Heirs and Assigns shall and will Warrant and forever
       defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the Parties
       to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set
       their Hands and Seals the Day and year first above
       Written                           John Howard son of Gid.n   Seal
       Sealed and Delivered
       in the presence of
       Joshua Dorsey   E Dorsey

       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t

       Octo.r the Twenty fifth 1748 Received of Darby Lux the
        Sum of fifty Pounds Sterling being the Consideration
        Money within mentioned                John Howard son of Gid.n

                    E Dorsey        Octo.r the Twenty fifth 1748 Came
        before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of
        the Provincial Court John Howard son of Gideon and acknowledged
        the within Deed as his Act and Deed and the Lands
        and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate
        of the within mentioned Darby Lux and his Heirs according
        to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in that Case made
        and Provided                                    Jn.o Brice

        Nov.r 11.th 1748 Reced of Cap.t Darby Lux six Shillings
        Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine
        on the within mentioned One Hundred and fifty Acres of
        Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin
