  6   Recorded November 17.th 1748         Rich.d Dorsey

X.d This Indenture made this Tenth Day of November Anno
       Dom One Thousand Seven Hundred and forty eight Between
       Samuel Hopkins of Talbot County in the Province of Maryland
       Planter of the one part and Philip Rigbey of the same place and
       County Planter on the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel
       Hopkins for and in Consideration of the full and Just Sum of
       Five Thousand Pounds of Tobacco to him in hand paid or
       otherwise secured to be paid by the said Philip Rigby before
       the ensealing and delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof
       the said Samuel Hopkins doth hereby Acknowledge and
       Confess to be therewith fully Satisfied Contented and paid and
       thereof and of every part or parcel thereof do hereby Release
       Acquit and for ever Discharge the said Philip Rigbie and
       his Heirs &c.a have given granted and firmly by these
       Presents do give grant Bargain and sell alien Enfeoffe and
       Confirm unto the said Philip Rigbie and his Heirs for ever
       all that Tract or Parcell of Land lying in Talbot County on the
       North side of Choptank River called Eaton Beginning at the end
       of Forty seven Perches of North and by East Line from the place
       where the first Original bound Tree of the said Land stood, and
       Runs from thence North by East Fifty three Perches then East
       by South one Hundred and Sixty Perches then South by
       West one Hundred Perches then West by North Ninety Perches
       Then with a streight Line to the beginning Containing and now
       laid out for Ninety Acres and a half of Land more or less
       according to Certificate of Resurvey thereof taken and returned
       into our Land Office bearing date the Twenty seventh Day
       of July Seventeen Hundred and forty three to be held of
       the Manor of Baltimore together with all and
