       and every of their Appurtenances unto the said Christopher
       Lowndes his Heirs and Assigns forever Provided always and it is
       hereby Conditioned Covenanted Concluded and Agreed by and
       Between the Parties to these Presents for them their Heirs
       Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assigns that if the said John Chalmers his Heirs
       Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assigns shall well and Truely pay or cause to be
       paid to the said Christopher Lowndes his Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assigns
       the said Sums of Twenty five Pounds four Shillings Current
       Money and Nine Pounds Nine Shillings Sterling Money
       of Great Britain with Legal Interest for the same and
       the Charges of drawing and Recording this Present
       Instrument of Writing at or upon the first day of January next
       then this Present Indenture and the Estate hereby Granted
       shall ^cease^ determine and be Void and of none Effect to all Intents
       and Purposes And the said John Chalmers for himself his Heirs
       Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assigns and every of them doth Covenant Promise
       and Grant to and with the said Christopher Lowndes his Ex.rs
       Adm.rs and Assigns by these Presents that he the said John
       Chalmers his Heirs Ex.rs ^Adm.rs^ or Assigns or some ^or^ one of them shall and
       will well and Truely pay or cause to be paid unto the said Christ.o
       Lowndes his Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assigns at the time herein before
       Expressed the said Sums of Twenty five Pounds four Shillings
       Current Money and Nine Pounds Nine Shillings Sterling and
       the Charges of Drawing and Recording this Present
       Instrument of Writing and Interest for the same from the Day
       of the Date of this Present Indenture untill the said Sums of
       Money shall be paid In Witness whereof the Parties to these
       have hereunto Interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the
       Day and Year first above Written
