Ex.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this Twenty
       first day of September in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred
       and forty Eight Between William Turner of Prince Georges
       County and Province af.d Planter of the one part and Thomas
       Maynard of the County and Province af.d Planter of the other
       part Witnesseth that the said William Turner for and in the
       Consideration of the Sum of Forty five Pounds Current Money
       to him in hand paid or Secured to be paid by the said Thomas Manyard
       at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt
       whereof the said William Turner doth hereby acknowledge He
       the said William Turner Hath Granted Bargain'd and Sold
       Alien'd and Confirm'd And by these Presents Doth Grant
       Bargain And Sell Alien and Confirm unto the said Thomas
       Maynard his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or
       Parcell of Land called Turner's Forest Situate lying &
       being in the County af.d Beginning at a Bounded Black
       Oak standing near the East side of a Draft of Broad Run being
       a Branch of Lingan Ore and Running thence South thirty
       six Degrees West forty Perches then North Seventy nine Degrees
       West thirty Perches thence South thirteen Degrees West fifty six
       Perches thence North eighty nine Degrees East Twenty Perches
       thence North fifty eight degrees East Twenty Perches thence South
       forty five Degrees East forty four Perches thence North fifty three
       degrees East one Hundred thirty Two Perches then a direct Line
       to the Beginning Tree containing sixty Acres of Land more or less
       together with all and Singular the Houses Buildings Gardens
       Orchards Lands Woods Ways Waters Easments and Advantages
       Whatsoever to the said Tract of Land belonging or in anywise appertaining
       And also all the estate Right Title Interest Property
       Claim and Demand Whatsoever of him the said William Turner
       of in & to the same or any Part or Parcell thereof To have and
       to hold the af.d Tract ^&^ of Land and Premisses with their and every of
       their Appurtenances unto the said Thomas Maynard his Heirs and
       Assigns for Ever and to no other use Intent or Purpose Whatsoever
       And the said William Turner for himself his Heirs Executors and
       Administrators Doth Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the
