489) aforesaid Planter of the other part Witnesseth That the said Joshua Barnes for and in Consideration of the Sum of sixteen Pounds Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith to be fully Content and thereof and of every part and parcel thereof Do acquit Exonerate and Discharge him the said Joshua Barnes do Give, Grant, Bargain, Sell, Enfeoff & Confirm unto him the said John Hood all that Tract or Parcel of Land called Barneses Hunt lying in Ann Arundel County beginning at or between two Bounded Spanish Oaks and one Bounded White Oak standing near the head of a Valley leading into a small Branch to the Eastward of the said Joshua Barnes Dwelling House and Running thence South Thirty three Degrees East Sixty six Perches then South Eighteen Degrees and a half Degree East one Hundred Ninety two Perches thence South forty Perches then South Seventy Eight Degrees West Twenty Perches thence North Twenty two Degrees West two Hundred Eighty Perches, thence with a Streight Line to the first Beginning place Containing and laid out for Sixty four Acres more or less as by the Patent may more largely appear together with all and Singular all the Wood and Underwood with all other the Appurtenances to the same Tract of Land belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said Tract of Land with every of its Appurtenances to him the said John Hood his Heirs and Assigns forever to his and their proper use and behoof and to no other use Intent or Purpose and the said Joshua Barnes (for) |
