488) hereafter to grow due or become due for the Premisses and every part thereof shall be Satisfyed paid and Discharged by the said Walter Dulany his Heirs and Assigns In Witness whereof the said Daniel Dulany hath hereunto set his Hand & Seal the Day and Year first above mentioned Sealed & Delivered D Dulany seal in the Presence of On the Back of the aforegoing William Rogers Jun.r Deed was thus Endorsed (Viz.t) James Barnes Jun.r On the 6.th day of Aug.t 1748 William Rogers Junior and James Barnes Jun.r the two Subscribing Witnesses to the within Instrument of Writing being duly and solemnly Sworn on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they saw Daniel Dulany Esq.r Seal and Deliver the same as his Act and Deed for the Uses therein mentioned and that they Subscribed their Respective Names as Witnesses thereto Sworn to before me W.m Rogers Received of M.r Walter Dulany fourteen Shill.s and six pence ^half penny^ Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned three Hundred and Sixty three Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & Receiver General Recorded Sept.r 15.th 1748 Rich.d Dorsey Ex.d This Indenture made this Twenty Day of August Anno Dom Seventeen Hundred forty eight Between Joshua Barnes of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one part and John Hood of the County and Province (aforesaid) |
