       (the) South side of a poplar Branch containing & laid out for three hundred
       Acres of Land more or less together with all Rights members & appurtenances
       unto the same undivided Moiety of the same Tract of Land called Howards
       Gift belonging or in any manner appurtaining and all the Estate Right
       title & Interest of him the same Nathaniel of in and to the same hereby
       granted undivided moiety of the Tract of Land af.d called Howards
       Gift and appurtenances & also the reversion & reversions Remainder &
       Remainders thereof To have and to hold all and Singular the
       afsd hereby Granted & Bargained undivided Moiety or half part of the
       Tract of Land afsd called Howard's Gift with the Premisses & Appurtenances
       thereunto belonging unto him the same Thomas Wilkinson his Heirs
       & Assigns from the Day next before the day of the date of these presents
       for and during the Term of one whole year from thence next ensuing
       and fully to be Compleated and ended to the Intent and Purpose
       and the better to enable the same Nathaniel to grant release and
       Convey all & singular the afsd with the Appurtenances thereunto
       belonging & the Reversion & Inheritance thereof unto the same
       Thomas Wilkinson his heirs & Assignes forever to the uses intent
       & Purposes And in such sort & manner as he the same Nathaniel
       doth Intend shortly hereafter to Grant release & Convey the same
       by Indenture intended to bear date the day next after the Day
       of the date of these presents In Witness whereof the parties
       afsd have hereunto interchangeably sett their hands & Seales the
       Day & year first above Written
       Sealed & delivered in Psence of            Nathaniel Wright      Seal
             Ja.s Sadler                        (On the Back of the aforegoing Deed
             Joseph Elliott                      was thus Indorsed Viz.t)

       Be it remembred that on the Second day of March Anno Dom Seventeen
       hundred & forty four the within named Nathaniel Wright Psonally Appeared
       before me one of the Right Honble the Lord Proprietary his Justices of the
       Provincial Court of Maryland & Voluntarily acknowledged the within Written
       Deed to be the proper Act & Deed of him the same Nathaniel In Testimony
       whereof I have hereunto sett my hand the Day & Year above Written
