45 (of) him the said Edward Ponteney his heirs & Assigns or of any other person or persons Whatsoever anything having ^or lawfully claiming or that hereafter shall or may claim any Estate^ Title Interest Use Trust Benefit or Demand and of in or out of the said Premisses hereby Granted or Mentioned to be granted or of in or out of any part or parcell thereof by from or under him the said Edward Ponteney & the said Edward Ponteney Doth further Covenant promise & grant to & with the said Charles Carroll his heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs that he hath not granted bargained aliened or otherwise Conveyed the above granted Lands and premisses to any other person or persons whatsoever In Witness Whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto Interchangebly Set their hands & Seales the Day & year first above written Sealed & Delivered in the presence of Edward Ponteny Seal W.m Rogers E Dorsey On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst (Viz.t) April the 19.th 1745 Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Prov.l Court Edward Ponteny & acknowledged the within Instrument as his Act & Deed & the Land & premisses therein mentioned to be the Right & Estate of the within named Charles Carroll his heirs & Assigns According to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in that Case made & Provided W.m Rogers April the 19.th 1745 Received of Charles Carroll ten Pounds Current Money & Eight hundred Pounds of Tobacco being the Consideration of the within Deed Edward Ponteny Witness W.m Rogers E Dorsey |
