44 (Presents) the Receipt whereof he Doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof doth clearly & Absolutely acquit exonerate & Discharge the said Charles Carroll his Ex.rs & Adm.rs by these presents he the said Edward Ponteny hath granted Bargained Sold aliened enfeoffed released and Confirmed & by these presents doth grant bargain Sell alien enfeoff release & Confirm unto the said Charles Carroll & his heirs all that Tract or Parcell of Land called Walnut Neck lying in Baltimore County on the North Side of Patapsco River at the head of the Middle Branch of the said River beginning at a marked Locust ^& running for breadth from the said Locust^ one hundred P.s to a Marked Walnut standing on the Side of a Branch called Walnut Branch bounded on the West by a Line Drawn North West from the said Walnut one hundred & Sixty P.s near to the fall of the said Branch on the North by a line Drawn North East from the end of the said North West line for breadth one hundred P.s on the East by a line Drawn South East from the end of the said North East line for length one hundred & Sixty P.s to the first marked Locust on the South by the Middle Branch containing & laid out for one hundred Acres more or less & all & Singular the Houses & buildings to the same belonging & all the Right Interest Benefit & Claim Whatsoever of him the said Edward Ponteney of in & to all and singular the said Premisses and of in and to every part & parcell thereof To have & to hold the said Tract or parcell of Land and all & singular other the premisses herein before mentioned & intended to be hereby granted with their & every of their appurtenances unto the said Charles Carroll his heirs & Assigns for ever And the said Edward Ponteney for himself his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & for every of them Doth Covenant Grant & agree to & with the said Charles Carroll his heirs & Assigns by these presents that he the said Charles Carroll his heirs & Assigns shall or lawfully may from time to time & at all & every time & times hereafter forever freely quietly and Peacebly hold occupy possess & enjoy all & Singular the Lands & premisses hereby granted or mentioned to be granted & every part & Parcell thereof without any manner of Let Suit Eviction Disturbance or other Hindrance or Molestation Whatsoever (of) |
