       to the end thereof then North by West with the said Land fifty
       three Perches till it Intersects the South Line of a Tract of
       Land called Rousbys Recovery then South Two hundred and
       thirty Perches untill it shall Intersect a line drawn West
       from the af.d Beginning Red Oak then East to the Beginning
       Tree Containing One hundred and Twenty Two Acres of Land
       more or less And for the setling and assuring the same Parcell
       of Land Contained within the Lines and Boundarys af.d with
       the Appurtenances to and for the uses intent and purposes
       herein and hereby after expressed limited and declared and
       for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and
       seventy five pounds Current Money of Maryland by the same     
       Joseph to the said Edmund already in hand paid the Receipt
       whereof is hereby acknowledged and for diverse other good
       Causes and Considerations him the said ^same^ Edmund thereunto
       moving Hath Granted Bargained Covenanted Concluded
       and Agreed and by these Presents doth Grant Bargain
       Covenant Conclude and Agree to and with the same Joseph
       Garnett his Heirs and Assigns that he the same Edmund
       shall and will Stand Seized of and be and remain Perfect
       Tenant of the Freehold of and in the af.d described Parcell
       of Land Contained within the lines and Boundarys abovementioned
       with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging in such
       Estate as he the said Edmund hath or had therein before the
       Execution of these presents untill a good and Perfect Common
       Recovery with single Voucher over shall and may be had
       suffered and executed of and for the same Parcell of Land with
       the Appurtenances according to the usual Course of Common
       Recoverys for the Assurance of Lands and Tenements in such
       Cases used and Accustomed and thereupon it is hereby mutually
       Covenanted Concluded Granted and Agreed by and between the
