Ex.d         This Indenture made the 25.th Day of July in the
       Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred forty and Seven Between
       Edward Choat of Baltimore County on the one part and Charles Carroll
       of the City of Annapolis Chyrurgion on the Other part Witnesseth
       that the said Edward Choat for and in Consideration of the sum of  
       Twenty Pounds Sterling money of Great Britain to him in hand
       Paid and Satisfied by the said Charles Carroll Hath Bargained
       Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth
       Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the Said Charles
       Carroll all that Tract of Land called Choats Delight Scituate & being in
       Baltimore County af^d^ being the Dwelling Plantation of him the said
       Edward and to him Granted for One hundred Acres by the Right
       Honourable the Lord Propry bearing date the fifth day of November
       Seventeen hundred thirty one To Have and to Hold unto him
       the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for ever to his & their Use
       and behoof all the said Tract of Land called Choats Delight together
       with all and Singular the Houses Orchards Fencing Improvements
       and Appurtenances whatsoever thereon or thereto in anywise belonging
       and Appertaining well and Truly Warranted and Defended as
       well against him the said Edward Choat as against all manner of
       Persons or Claims Whatsoever Saving the part that Runs into an
       Elder Survey which now belongs to said Carroll and the said the
       said Edward doth hereby Covenant the said Land and Premisses
       to Warrant and Defend to him the said Charles Carroll his heirs &
       Assigns forever against all manner of Persons and Claims whatsoever
       Saving as af.d In Witness whereof and the foregoing Premes
       the said parties have hereunto Interchangeably Set their hands and
       Affixed their Seals the Day and first above written
