       Give Grant Bargain Sell Assign and Sett over to him
       the said Thomas Reynolds his heirs and Assigns forever
       Certain Tract or parcel of Land called Lake Discovery
       in Dorchester County Containing One hundred Sixty and
       Six Acres as Patented to the said Lake the 4.th day of June
       1742 which had ^may^ more at Large appear with all the Appurts
       thereto belonging together with all my Good Chattels Rights
       Credits and Effects that I now have of any kind whatsoever
       To have and to hold the said Tract or peice of Land
       Goods and Chattels Rights and Credits as af.d unto him the
       ^said^ Thomas Reynolds his heirs and Assigns forever and the said
       Charles Lake for himself his heirs Ex.rs and Administrators
       Doth further Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the s.d
       Thomas Reynolds his heirs and Assigns to Warrant and
       Defend the same and every unto him the said Thomas
       Reynolds his heirs or Assigns against the Lawfull Claim of
       all persons whatsoever Provided Nevertheless
       that in Case the said Charles Lake his heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs
       Shall well and Truly Pay or Cause to be paid to the af.d Thomas
       Reynolds his heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs and Assigns the above
       mentioned sum of fifty one Pounds Eight Shillings and Ten
       Pence Current money with Lawfull Interest for the Same
       at or before the Twentieth Day of May next that then this Psent
       writing and everything therein Contained to be Void as if the
       Same had never been made In Witness whereof of the
       Said Charles Lake hath hereunto Sett his hand and Affixed
       his Seal this first Day of June In the Year of our Lord God
       One thousand Seven hundred and forty Seven
                   Sealed and Delivered            Cha.s Lake   Seal
                   In Presence of
                   Ja Duke   John Clare
             On the Back of the aforegoing Mortgage was thus Endorst
