213) Ex.d This Indenture made this Sixteenth Day of July in the year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Six Between Ernault Hawkins of Queen Anns County in the Province of Maryland Planter and Jane his Wife of the one part and John Hawkins of the same County Planter of the other Part Witnesseth that the same Ernault and Jane his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Current Money of Maryland to them in hand paid by the same John Hawkins the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for ^diverse^ other good Causes and Considerations them thereunto moving Have Granted, Bargained and sold and by these presents do Grant Bargain and Sell unto the same John Hawkins and his Assigns all that part ^Parcell^ of Plantable Land being part of a Tract of Land called Conquest lying and being in Queen Anns County aforesaid in Spaihards Neck next above a Tract of Land called Courseys Point Begining at an Old Oak Stump Standing in W.m Sanders's Corn Feild within the Land called Courseys Point being the original beginning of the same Land called Conquest and running from thence North sixty three Degrees thirty Minuites East Eighteen Perches to where it cuts the South East by East line of the said Land called Courseys Point then with the said Land South East by East three hundred and Fifty ^two^ Perches and then North East by North Fifty Perches then North Forty Degrees West one Hundred Twenty and two Perches then North forty Eight Degrees west Twenty Ninety two Perches then South Seventy Degrees west Twenty one Perches then North Eighty Degrees west Thirty Six Perches then North sixty two Degrees west forty four Perches then South Seventy Seven Degrees West Sixty Perches then with a Streight line to the beginning Oak Stump aforesaid Containing one hundred and thirty Eight Acres of Land more or less together with all rights Members and Appurtenances thereunto belonging or Appertaining and all the Estate Right Title and Interest of them the same Ernault and Jane his Wife and of each and either of them of in and to the same and every part thereof (and) |
