       Ullirick Waggoner part to the within Deed & Acknowledged
       the same According to the Directions of the Act of Assembly
       in that Case made & provided

Ex.d This Indenture made this fifteenth day of Feb.ry
       in the Year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred
       forty & five Between John Williams of Prince Georges County
       in the Province of Maryland on the one part and Charles
       Carroll of Annapolis Chyrurgeon on the other part
       Witnesseth that the said John Williams for & in Consideration
       of the Sum of fifty Pounds Current Money of
       Maryland to him in hand paid by the said Charles Carroll
       the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge
       hath given granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed &
       confirmed unto him the said Charles Carroll one Tract of
       Land scituate lying & being in Prince Georges County
       af.d on a Branch of Potomack River called Conegechego
       being part of a Tract of Land called Maidens Choice
       taken up by Evan Shelby & Sold to the said Williams by
       the Name of Williams Purchase containing Two
       hundred & seventy ^Nine^ Acres of Land with all & singular
       the Buildings Fencing & Appurtenances thereon or
       thereto in any Ways belonging & Appurtaining to have
       & to hold the said Tract of Land called Williams
       Purchase containing at af.d Two hundred & Seventy
       Nine Acres of Land with its Appurtenances unto
       him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assigns
       for Ever & the said John Williams doth Covenant &
       Agree to & with the said Charles Carroll that he the
       said Charles shall & may have hold & Enjoy the same
       well & sufficiently Warrented & defended Against
