88) Ex.d I hereby for me my Heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs relinquish unto the within named Benj.a Tasker & to his Heirs & Assignes All my right title Claim & Interest that I have in Law or Equity unto the within mentioned Lands & Premisses for the within mentioned Sum of fifty seven Pounds fourteen shillings & three Pence sterling & the Interest from the Date of the within In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 16 Day of March 1738 Jos Hooper Seal Vide Mortgage recorded in Lib P Ll N.o 8 fol 1187 1/2 Recorded March 21.st 1738 X.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made the seventh Day of March in the Year of our Lord God One thousand seven hundred and thirty Eight Nine Between Lewis Wilcoxon of Prince Georges County in the Province af.d Planter of the one part and Thomas Addison of the same County in the Province af.d Gentleman of the other part witnesseth that the said Lewis Wilcoxon for and in Consideration of the sum of fifty pounds sterling money of Great Britain and six thousand pounds of Merchantable Tobacco in Cask to him in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said Thomas Addision the Receipt whereof the said Lewis Wilcoxon doth hereby acknowledge Hath given Granted bargained sold aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and made over And by these Presents doth for himself and his Heirs give Grant bargain sell alien Enfeoffe Confirm and make over unto the said Thomas Addison his Heirs and Assignes for Ever All that Tract or Parcell of Land Called the Discovery lying in Prince Georges County af.d Beginning at a bounded Oak now decayed the first bound Tree of a Parcell of Land formerly laid out for Joseph Chairman lying on the Eastern branch of Potomack and running thence South East three hundred and Twenty Perches then South Twenty Six Degrees West two hundred and fifteen Perches then West and by North forty two Perches then North North West Seventy five Perches then North East One hundred and Two perches then North West three hundred and Twenty Perches then with a streight line to the first Tree Containing two hundred and Seventy four Acres of Land Together with all and Singular the Dwelling houses Out houses Tobacco Houses Orchard and all other Improvements Conveniencys And Advantages thereon or thereto belonging or in any manner of Way appertaining To have and hold the Tract of Land Called Discovery and Premisses af.d unto him the said Thomas Addison his Heirs and Assignes for Ever To the only proper use and behoof of him the said Thomas Addison his Heirs and Assignes for Ever and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever And the said Lewis Wilcoxon doth for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant Promise grant and Agree to and with the said Thomas Addison his Heirs (and) |
