89) & Assignes That he the said Lewis Wilcoxon and his heirs the Tract of Land and Premisses af.d against him the said Lewis Wilcoxon and his Heirs and all persons claiming or to claim by from ^by^ or under him or them shall and will at all times for Ever hereafter warrant and Defend by these Presents And further the said Lewis Wilcoxon doth for himself his Heirs Ex.rs Administrators Covenant promise grant and agree to and with the said Thomas Addison his Heirs and Assignes that he the said Lewis Wilcoxon and his Heirs shall and will at any time or times hereafter at the reasonable request and proper Cost and Charge in the Law of him the said Thomas Addison his Heirs and or Assignes make do and Lawfully Execute any further or other Deed Instrumn.t or Conveyance that shall be devised or required by the said Thomas Addison his Heirs or Assignes or his or their Councill learned in the Law for the better Assurance and Confirmation of the Land and Premisses af.d unto him the said Thomas Addison his Heirs and Assignes In Witness whereof the said Lewis Wilcoxon to these presents hath set his hand and seal the Day and year above written his Signed Sealed and Delivered Lewis L Wilcoxon Seal in presence of mark Jn.o Addison On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst fs.t Benj.a Norris Reced the Day and Year within mentioned the sum of Fifty Pounds Sterling and six thousand Pounds Tobacco Test being the Consideration within mentioned his Jn.o Addison Lewis L Wilcoxon Mark Memorandum that on the Seventh Day of March Anno Domini 1738/9 Came Lewis Wilcoxon part to the within Deed and acknowledged the same according to Law and the Land & Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right of the within named Thomas Addison and his Heirs and Assignes for Ever And likewise Came Susanna the Wife of the said Lewis Wilcoxon who being privately Examined out of the hearing of her said Husband and acknowledged that she released and acquitted all her right title Claim and Demand of Dower of in and to the within Land and Premisses willingly and freely and without being induced thereto by fear or threats of or ill usage by her Husband or fear of his Displeasure before Jn.o Addison Recorded May 18.th 1739 |
