84) Pounds Sterling Money of Great Brittain to us in hand paid by the said Richard Johns at or before the Ensealing and Delivering of these Presents the Receipt whereof they the said Elizabeth Hutchins & Benjamin Hance doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquit and Discharge the said Richard Johns his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assigns and Every of them by these Presents Hath bargained Sold Enfeoffed & Confirmed and by these Presents for themselves and Every of their Heirs or Either of their Heirs doth fully and Absolutely Grant bargain sell Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Richard Johns his Heirs and Assignes All that Tract or Parcell of Land Called and known by the Name of Mothers Care Scituate lying & being in Baltimore County in the Woods on the South Side of the main falls of Gunpowder River Beginning at a bounded Double Poplar bounded with Twelve Notches and running North two hundred & Eighty Perches then West two hundred & Eighty Perches then South two hundred and Eighty Perches then by a direct line to the first bounded Tree Containing & laid out for five hundred Acres of Land more or less according to Pattent recorded in the Land Records of the fores.d Province of Maryland bearing Date the Twelfth Day of July One thousand seven hundred & three together with all buildings Gardens Woods Underwoods Profits Comodities and Appurtenances whatsoever unto the said Parcell of Land and Premisses hereby Granted belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said Parcell of Land and Premisses and Every Part and Parcell thereof unto the said Richard Johns his Heirs and Assignes to the only Proper use and behoofe of him the said Richard Johns his Heirs and Assigns for Ever And further the af.d Eliz.a Hutchins and Benj.a Harris their Heirs and Assignes doth Covenant with the said Richard Johns his Heirs and Assigns that the said Richard Johns his Heirs and Assigns shall and may Peaceably and quietly from time to time have hold use occupy possess and Injoy the af.d Land & Premisses and Every Part and Parcell thereof without any Let Hinderance or Disturbance from the afores.d Eliz.a Hutchins and Benjamin Hance or Either of their Heirs the af.d Land they will Warrant and for Ever Defend unto the afores.d Richard Johns his Heirs and Assignes for Ever so far as they have Power so to do by Virtue of the afores.d Will of Francis Hutchins deceased In Witness whereof We have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals the Day & Year above written Elizabeth Seal Hutchins Benj.a Seal Hance Signed Sealed and Deliver.d in the presence of us On the back of the aforegoing Deed was Gabriel Parker thus Endorst Viz.t John Yoo Calvert County Dec.r 19.th 1738 Reced of Richard John Richards Johns Eighty two Pounds Sterling Money being in full for the within mentioned Land and Premisses (P) |
