       Francis Hutchins & Benj.a Hance and acknowledged the within mentioned
       Land & Premisses to be the Right of Richard Johns his Heirs and
       Assigns for Ever according to Law and the true Intent and Meaning of
       the said Francis Hutchins last Will & Testament Witness our hands

       Maryland Calvert County fs.t  I hereby Certifye to all Persons Concerned that
       the Worshipfull Gabriel Parker and Sutton Isaacke before whom the
       within Deed of Conveyance was acknowledged were at the time of the
       Acknowledgment (and now are) two of the Right Honourable the Lord Proprys
       Justices of the Peace for the County af.d
                                  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and

Ex.d This Indenture made the twenty fourth Day of February in the Year of our
       Lord Seventeen hundred and thirty Eight Between Achsah Woodward of the
       City of Annapolis Widow of the one part and Caleb Dorsey of the same
       County Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Achsah Woodward
       for and in Consideration of the Natural Love & Affection which she hath & doth
       bear to her Children Mary Elizabeth & Elianor Woodward & for their better
       support & Maintenance & for & in Consideration of five shillings to her in
       hand paid by the said Caleb Dorsey the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
       hath Given Granted & Confirmed and ^doth^ by these presents Give Grant & Confirm
       unto the said Caleb Dorsey to the Uses hereafter mentioned All and singular
       her Goods Chattles Debts ready Money Plate Rings household stuff Utensills
       Brass Pewter Copper Bedding Meat Cattle horses sheep Hogs and all
       other her Substance of Every kind & Quality movable & immovable Quick
       & Dead of what kind quality Nature or Condition soever as they now are
       or which at any time hereafter during the Continuance of the said Achsah
       sole & unmarried they shall or may be improved or increased to To have
       and to hold All and Singular the said Goods Chattles Mony Debts and all
       other the Premisses to the said Caleb Dorsey to the only proper use and
