       of the Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland and did acknowledge
       the Two Tracts of Land within mentioned to be the right and
       Estate of the within named Thomas Maynard his Heirs and
       Assignes for Ever after the manner that the Law Directs the Day

Ex.d This Indenture made the 19.th Day of December Anno Dom One thousand seven
       hundred & thirty Eight Between Eliz.a Hutchins Widdow and Relict of Francis
       Hutchins late of Calvert County deceased and Benjamin Hance both of Calvert
       County in the Province of Maryland of the one Part and Richard Johns of
       the same County and Province aforesaid of the other Part Witnesseth that
       Whereas Francis Hutchins late of Calvert County in the Province af.d
       by his last Will and Testament duely proved and recorded in the Commissarys
       Office in the Province of Maryland bearing Date the fifth Day of
       Feb.ry One thousand Seven hundred and thirty seven in the third
       Paragraph of the afores.d Will are the following Words Viz.t I leave my land
       in Baltimore County Called Mothers Care to be sold by my Dear & Loving Wife
       Eliz.a Hutchins and Benjamin Hance my Brother in Law or whom they
       shall appoint and the Money to go towards the Payment of my just Debts
       We the Subscribers Pursuant to the Will afores.d have by Authority given
       Published Publick Advertisements in Baltimore County where the af.d
       Land lyeth & there offered it to sale by Publick Vandue since which have
       Given Publick Advertisements in Calvert County of the sale fo the afores.d
       Land at Prince Frederick Town to the Highest Bidder These may further
       Certifye that on the Day and Year abovesaid We the Subscribers have
       Disposed of the afores.d Land Called Mothers Care by Publick Vandue at
       Prince Frederick Town af.d unto Richard Johns of Calvert County in the
       Province of Maryland for the Consideration of the Sum of Eighty two
