       John Simons Tamer Simons Mary Carpenter Spinster & Dorothy
       Carpenter by Indenture bearing Date the Day of the Date hereof for
       the Consideration of Sixty five Pounds therein mentioned have given
       Granted bargained Sold aliened released Enfeoffed & Confirmed unto John
       Cockey of Baltemore County in the Province of Maryland Merchant
       & to his Heirs & Assignes All those two Tracts or Parcells of Land lying
       & being in Baltimore County af.d Called or known by the Names of
       Helmore & Helmores Addition Containing about four hundred &
       Seventy Eight Acres of Land To have & to hold the said Premisses with
       the Appurtenances unto the said John Cockey his Heirs & Assignes
       for Ever As by the said Indenture relation being thereunto had
       more at large appeareth Now know Yee that We the said Mary
       Carpenter Widow John Simons Tamer Simons Mary Carpenter
       Spinster & Dorothy Carpenter Have made Ordained authorized
       Constituted & Appointed and by these Presents do make ordain
       authorize Constitute & appoint & in our Stead & Places put our
       Trusty & well beloved Friends John Troad of Bideford in the said County
       of Devon Marriner John Rendell of the City of London Marriner
       & John Carpenter of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland
       af.d Marriner our true & lawfull Attorney & Attorneys Joyntly and
       Severally for us & in our Names & for our only Proper use & behoofe
       to take & receive of & from the said John Cockey the af.d Fyne or
       Consideration Money of Sixty five Pounds mentioned & specifyed
       in the said Indenture of Release & upon Receipt thereof they the
       said John Troad John Rendell & John Carpenter or any one of them
       to deliver the said Indenture to the said John Cockey Together with
       one Indenture of Bargain & Sale of the said Premisses to the s.d
       John Cockey his Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assignes for one whole Year Executed
       by Us bearing Date the Day before the Date of these Presents And
       we do likewise hereby Give & Grant unto our said Attorneys & unto
       Every one of them our full power & authority to make Substitute
       Depute & Appoint any one or more Attorney or Attorneys Person
       or Persons under them or any One or Either of them to act do
