456) from and against him the said W.m Peddicoart and his heirs and from and against all other Persons whatsoever shall and will Warrant and forever hereafter Defend by these Presents And the said W.m Peddicoart Doth hereby ^further^ Covenant and Grant that he the said William Peddicoart and his heirs shall and will at the request of the sid Philip Hammond his heirs or assigns make Doe or Suffer to be Done any other further reasonable act or acts whatsoever for the better Surety and sure making of the said Two Tracts of Land and Premisses unto him the said Philip Hammond his heirs or Assigns as by him or them his or their Council shall be advised or required Provided allways and it is the true intent and meaning of these Presents that if he the said W.m Peddicoart his heirs Executors or Administrators shall and do well and Truly pay or Cause to be paid unto him the said Philip Hammond his heirs or Assigns the Just sum of one hundred pounds sterling together with the Legal Arising thereupon at or before the Twenty ninth Day of September in the Year Seventeen hundred forty six that then this Deed and Every Clause thereof shall be Void and of no Effect otherwise to be and Stand in full force and Virtue In Witness whereof the said W.m Peddicoart hath hereto set his hand and Affixed his Seal the Day and Year above Written Signed sealed & Delivered W.m Peddicoart Seal In the Presence of us Ja.s Plaming Charles Hammond On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst Viz.t November 9 1743 Received the sum of one hundred pounds (sterling) |
