457) sterling of Philip Hammond being the Consideration money within mentioned his Testis William P Peddycoart Jn.o Brice Mark November 9 1743 Then Came W.m Peddycoart before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Instrument as his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein Contained to be the Right and Estate of the within named Philip Hammond his heirs and Assigns for Ever according to the True intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and Provided taken and acknowledged before me the Subscriber the Day and Year above Written Recorded November the 9.th 1743 Jn.o Brice 8 s.ds Ex.d This Indenture made the ninth Day of November Anno Dom One Thousand seven hundred forty and three between Mark Richardson and Thomas Richardson of Ann Arundell County Planters of the one Part and Thomas Richardson of the County aforesaid Inholder of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Mark Richardson and Thomas Richardson for and in Consideration of the sum of thirty pounds sterling money to them in hand paid by the said Thomas Richardson the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and the said Thomas Richardson thereof and therefrom by these Presents fully acquitted and discharged hath Bargained Sold and made over and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Bargain sell and make over and Confirm unto the said Thomas Richardson his heirs and Assigns a Parcell of Land being Called Marks Range lying (Scituate) |
