Ex.d This Indenture made this thirtieth Day of April in the Year of our Lord
       Christ One thousand seven hundred and forty three Between Ann Parr of Talbot
       County Widow heretofore called Ann King one of the Daughters and Divisees
       of John King late of the same County deceased of the one part and James
       Calder of Chester Town in Kent County Attorney at Law of the other Part
       Witnesseth that the same Anne for the Docking barring and cutting off all
       Estates Tail and Remainders in Tail of and in one undivided Moiety or half
       part of That Tract or Parcel of Land with the Appurtenances called Howards
       Gift lying scituate and being formerly in Cæcil County in the Province of
       Maryland but now in Kent County in the same Province at the Head of a
       Creek called Farly Creek Beginning at a marked Poplar Tree standing
       on the south side of a Branch called Poplar Branch being the Northermost
       Bounds of a parcel of Land taken up for Elias King and William Harris
       and called by the Name of Poplar Farm and running from the said Tree
       North North West one hundred and fifty perches and from thence with
       a Line drawn East North East three hundred and twenty Perches and
       then with a Line drawn from the End of the last North East Line with a Line
       drawn south south East one hundred and fifty Perches and from thence with
       a Line drawn to the aforementioned Poplar Tree standing on the South
       Side of Poplar Branch containing and laid out for three hundred Acres
       of Land more or less and for the selling and assuring the same undivided
       Moiety with the Appurtenances to and for the Uses Intents and Purposes
       herein after limited expressed and declared and for & in Consideration
       of the sum of five thousand five hundred Pounds of Tobacco to
       her in Stand paid by the said James the Receipt whereof is hereby
