       three Between John Smith of Calvert County in the Province af.d Gentl.n and
       Alexander Lawson of Baltimore County in the said Province Merchant of
       the other Part Witnesseth that the said John Smith for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of fifteen Pounds Sterling Money to him in Hand paid at an
       before the ensealing & Delivery ^hereof^ the Receipt whereof he the said John Smith
       Doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith fully satisfied and contented
       and by these presents doth release and Discharge the said Alexander
       Lawson and his Heirs of and from every part and Parcel thereof Hath
       granted bargained and sold and by these Presents doth grant bargain and
       sell unto the s.d Alex.r Lawson his heirs and Assigns forever all that Lott or Parcell
       of Ground lying in Joneses Town on Patapsco River in Baltimore County
       numbred in the Plat of said Town fourteen and which was originally taken up
       by father Coll.o Jn.o Smith late of Calvert County Deceased with all the
       Improvements and appurtenances thereunto belonging To have & to hold
       the sid Lott of Ground together with all the Buildings Improvements and
       appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said Alex.r Lawson his heirs and
       Assigns for ever and to no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever And the said
       John Smith for himself his heirs Executors & Administrators doth hereby covenant
       grant and agree to and with the said Alexander Lawson his heirs and Assigns
       that the Lott of Ground aforesaid together with the Improvements and appurtenances
       thereunto belonging to him the said Alex.r Lawson his heirs and Assigns
       will warrant & Defend against him the said John Smith and all person or
       Persons Claiming by from or under him In Witness whereof the said John
       Smith the party first above mentioned to these Presents hath hereunto sett his
       hand and Seal this day and year first above mentioned
