       Came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordship's Justices for s.d County the
       within John Smith and acknowledged the within Instrument to be his
       Act and Deed and the Lott of Ground with the appurtenances therein
       mentioned to be the Right and estate of the within named Alex.r Lawson
       his heirs and Assigns for ever at the same time Came Mary Smith wife
       of the said John Smith and Acknowledged all her Right of Dower of s.d Lott
       to be the Right of said Alex.r Lawson his heirs and Assigns forever the said
       Mary being first Examined out of hearing of her said Husband according to the
       Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided

       Anno Dom Seventeen hundred forty and two Between Isaac Morris
       of Worcester County in the Province of Maryland Gent & Esther his Wife
       Daughter & Divisee of William Whittington late of Somerset County in the
       said Province Gent Deceased of the first Part Alexand.r Buncle of the
       said County of Worcester Gent of the second part and John Scarborough
       of the sid County of Worcester Gent of the third Part Witnesseth that
       the said Isaac Morris & Esther his Wife and the said John Scarborough
       for and in Consideration of five Shilings Current money of Maryland
       to Each of them by the said Alexander paid at and before the Ensealing
       and Delivery of these Presents the receipt Whereof they and each of
