(39) Ex.d Maryland fs This Indenture made the twentieth Day of April in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred & thirty Eight Between Thomas Worthington of Ann Arundell County Merchant of the one Part & Basill Dorsey of the Same County Gent of the Other Part Witnesseth that the Said Thomas Worthington for & in Consideration the Love & Affection & Divers Good Causes & Considerations he the Said Thomas herein to moveing towards y.e Said Basill as also for & in Consideration of five Shillings Sterling money To him the Said Thomas in hand Paid by the Said Basill Dorsey at & before the Ensealing & Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof the Said Thomas Worthington Doth hereby Acknowledge & himself therewith fully Satisfied Contented & Paid Have given granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these Presents Doe give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff & Confirm unto the Said Basill Dorsey his heirs & Assigns for ever all his the said Thomas's right & Propertie of in & to all that tract or Parcell of Land Called (Greene's Choice) Lying & being in Baltimore County & on the West side Gwins falls as by his Lordships Letters Pattent to Nicholas Grimes Dated the Tenth Day of September Seventeen hundred & twenty four & the said Nicholas Grimeses Deed to the said Thomas Worthington Dated the fifteenth Day of November Seventeen hundred & thirty one Referance being had to the said Pattent & Deed may more fully & at Large Appear Together with all & Singular the Premisses & Appurtenances to the said Tract of Land belonging or in Any ways Appertaining To have & to hold the Said Tract of Land & Premisses with the Appurtenances to him the said Basill Dorsey his heirs & Assigns for ever to the Only Proper use of him the Said Basill Dorsey his heirs & assigns & to no Other use Intent or Purpose whatsoever & the Said Thomas Worthington for himself & his heirs Shall & will from time to time & at all times for ever hereafter Warrant & Defend the said Tract of Land & Premisses with the Appurtenances unto Basill Dorsey his heirs & assigns for ever from & against all & Every Person Whatsoever Claiming or to Claim any right title or Intrest unto the af.d Tract of Land & Premisses with the Appurtenances from by or under him the said Thomas Worthington his heirs or Assigns but no further In Witness whereof the said Thomas hath hereunto Interchangablely Set his hand & Affixed his Seale the Day & Year af.d Signed Sealed & Delivered Tho.s Worthington seale In the Presence of us Peter Topping Emanuel Marriott (On) |
