       severally depose & swear to be true that they & Each of them
       saw Witham Marshe John Howell & John Stevens Parties thereto
       Seal & deliver the same as their respective Act & Deed

Ex.d This Indenture made the thirtyeth Day of October in the Year of
       our Lord seventeen hundred and forty two Between Benjamin Fowler
       and Jane Axsell both of Annarunder County in the Province of
       Maryland of the one Part and John Conaway of the same County
       of the other Part Witnesseth that the aforesaid Benjamin and
       Jane for and in consideration of the sum of five Pounds sterling to them
       in hand Paid Have Granted Bargained sold and confirmed and
       by these Presents they the said Benjamin and Jane do for themselves
       their & Each of their heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns
       Grant Bargain Sell and confirm unto the said John Conaway his
       heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever all that
       Tract or Parcell of Land called Bean thicket Lying in Baltemore
       County on the North side of Petapsco River Beginning at a
       bounded white oak being a bounded Tree of Ashman's Hope and
       running southwest one hundred and sixty perches then north
       west one hundred perches thence North East one hundred and
       sixty perches and thence running by a Direct Line to the beginning
       Tree containing and Laid out for one hundred Acres of Land more
       or Less Together with all the edifices Improvements Benefits
       and advantages thereon or in any wise thereto appurtaining
       or belonging To have and to hold the said Land and
       Premisses unto the said John Conaway his heirs Executors
       Administrators and Assigns for ever and to no other use intent
       or Purpose whatsoever And the said and the said Benjamin
       and Jane for themselves their and either of their heirs Executors
       Administrators and Assigns Do covenant Promise Grant and
       agree to and with the said John Conaway his heirs Executors
       Administrators and Assigns and every of them in manner and
       form following Viz.t That he the said John Conaway his heirs
