       County Planter of the third Part Witnesseth that the said John
       Howell for & in Consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Current
       Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said John Stevens
       at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt
       whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath Given Granted released & Confirmed
       & by these Presents Doth Give Grant release & Confirm unto the said
       John Stevens All those Tracts lieing in Kent County one Called
       Williamston containing five hundred Acres of Plantable Land one
       other Tract containing Seventy Acres of Plantable Land called the
       Cove or Cove and one other Tract called the Cove Tract containing one
       hundred Acres of Plantable Land with their & every of their Appurtenances
       late in the tenure or Occupation of the said John Howell
       (but now all in the Actual Possession of the said John Stevens by
       force of an Indenture of Bargain and Sale thereof made bearing
       Date the Day before the Date of these Presents & of the Statute
       for transferring of Uses into Possession being) To have and to
       hold all & Singular the said Severall tracts of Land & Hereditaments
       & all & every ^the^ Premisses with the Appurtenances hereby given
       granted released and Confirmed or mentioned or intended to be
       hereby given granted released & Confirmed unto the said John
       Stevens & his Assigns for & during the Natural life of the said
       John Stevens to the Intent & Purpose that the said John Stevens
       shall & may be perfect Tenant of the Freehold of all the said Lands &
       Premisses untill one or more good & Perfect Recovery or Recoveries
       may be had against him the said John Howell of the same Lands
       & Premisses And it is Covenanted granted Concluded & Agreed by and
       Between all the said Parties to these Presents that it shall and may
       be lawfull to & for the said William Marshe before the last Day of
       October Term next Ensueing the Date of these Presents to prosecute
       out of his Lordships High Court of Chancery One or more Writ or
       Writs of Entry Sur Diseisin on le post against the said John Stevens
       returnable in the Provincial Court at Annapolis whereby the
       said William Marshe shall & may respectively demand against
       the said John Stevens & John Howell All & singular the aforementioned
       Premisses with the Appurtenances by Such Name or Names
