       of Captain John Pearce and running with the line of the said
       Pearce's Land North West Nine Hundred & fifty Six Perches then North
       East three hundred & two Perches then South East Nine hundred &
       fifty Six Perches then South West to the first Tree Containing Eighteen
       hundred Acres of Land more or less Together with all Buildings Improvements
       Profits Advantages Ways Waters and Appurtenances to
       the Bargained Premisses & every Part thereof to the said John Galloway
       his Heirs & Assignes for Ever to his & their own & to no other
       Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said John Taillor for himself
       and his Heirs Doth Covenant & agree to & with the said John
       Galloway his Heirs & Assignes That he the said John Taillor & his
       Heirs the Bargained Premisses & every Part thereof to the said John
       Galloway his Heirs and Assignes from and against him the said
       John Taillor & from all Incumbrances & from & against all persons
       whatsoever claiming from by or under him the said John Taillor
       (the Rents hereafter growing due & to be paid to the Lord Proprietary
       being foreprized & Excepted) shall & will warrant and for Ever defend by
       these Presents And the said John Taillor hath nominated authorized
       & impowered & by these Presents Doth nominate authorize and impower
       Charles Carroll of Annapolis in the said Province Esquire
       John Darnall of Ann Arundell County aforesaid Gentleman John
       Galloway of Ann Arundell County aforesaid Merchant or any of
       them his Attorneys or Attorney jointly or Severally to acknowledge
       these Presents in or before any Court of Record or before any Judge
       of Justice, Judges or Justices according to the Laws of Maryland as
       fully & amply as the said John Taillor could or might do if Personally
       Present In Witness whereof the said John Taillor hath to
       these Presents set his hand and Seal the Day and Year first above
       written                                 John   Seal   Taillor

       On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst (Viz.t)
                Sealed and Delivered in Presence of Edm Jenings Simon
                Pridham Jos Adams

       Received on the Day & Year within written of & from the within
       named John Galloway Junior the Sum of four hundred & fifty
