       Alienation List made out & Fees Charged for the Year 1741


Ex.d This Indenture made the tenth Day of November
       Seventeen hundred & forty one between John Hurst of
       Ann Arundell County Planter of the one Part & John Brice of
       the County af.d Gentleman of the other part Witnesseth that the
       said John Hurst for & in Consideration of the Sum of three pounds
       ten Shillings Current money to him in hand paid the receipt
       whereof he doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained
       Sold Aliened Enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these presents for himself
       & his heirs & assigns doth give grant bargain sell alien Enfeoff
       & Confirm unto the said John Brice his heirs & assigns for ever
       all that part of a Tract of Land lying on the North side of Severn
       River & one Branch of a Creek called Ferry Creek called
       Mutual consent or otherwise Mutual content begining at
       the first mentioned White Oak of the said Tract of Land and
       Running South South West Eighty four perches then East
       Cross the said Land to the line thereof that runneth North North
       East five degrees Easterly then with the same Line to the
       Extent thereof then bounding on a Branch of Ferry Creek af.d
       & a Streight line to the first beginning bounded white Oak
       containing twenty five Acres of Land more or less to have &
       to hold the said Tract of Land & Premisses with its Appurtenances
       unto him the said John Brice his heirs & assigns for ever
       & the said John Hurst for himself & his heirs doth hereby
       Covenant & agree to & with the said John Brice his heirs &
       assigns that he the said John Hurst & his heirs the said Tract
       of Land & Premisses with its Appurtenances against him
       the said John Hurst & his heirs & every of them unto the
       said John Brice his heirs & every of them shall & will
       Warrant & for ever defend & also against all Persons
       claiming by from or under him the said John Hurst & his
       heirs & every of them shall & will Warrant & for ever defend
       by these Presents In Witness whereof he the said John
       Hurst hath hereunto set his hand & Seal the Day & Year above
