277) of his right & Estate & all his claim & demand and in or to the af.d two Parcells of Land & Premisses as by the said Joseph Hill his heirs or assigns his or their Council Learned in the Law shall be reasonably advised devised or required In Witness whereof the said George Yate have hereunto set his hand & affixed his Seal this 20.th Day of November 1741 George Yate seale Sealed & delivered in the P.rsents of the Word (North) being first Interlined in the fifth line Joseph Galloway John Ramsay On the back of the aforegoing Deed Philip Hopkins was thus Written Viz.t Ann Arundell County fs.t Be it Remembred that Now on this 20.th Day of November Anno Domini Seventeen hundred & forty One comes the within named George Yate before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for the said County & Acknowledged the within bargained Land & Premisses to be the Estate right title & Interest of the within mentioned Joseph Hill his heirs & assigns for ever Persuant to true intent & meaning of the within Deed & the Act of Assembly in such cases made & Provided in further Testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands the Day & year aforesaid Sam.l Smith Sam.l Chew Reced November the 23.d 1741 of M.r Joseph Hill the sum of ten Shillings & Six pence Sterling for his Lordships use being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned two hundred & Sixty two Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission from the Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent Receiver General Rich.d Dorsey Recorded Nov.r the 30.th 1741 9 |
