           On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written viz.t
       November the 10.th 1741.   Then came John Hurst before me the Subscriber
       one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court & acknowledged
       the within Instrument as his Act & Deed & the Land & Premisses therein
       mentioned to be the Right & Estate of the within Named John
       Brice his heirs & assigns for ever According to the directions of
       the Act of Assembly in that case made & provided

Ex.d This Indenture made the Nineteenth Day of December
       in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and forty one
       between Sarah Hall of Ann Arundel County in the Province
       of Maryland Widow Joseph Pumphrey of the County and
       Province aforesaid Planter and Ann his Wife Saborah
       Cockey of the County and Province aforesaid Spinster Mark
       Johnson of the County and Province aforesaid planter and
       Elizabeth his wife & Oneal Johnson of the County and Province
       aforesaid Planter & Mary his wife the Daughters & Coheiresses
       of a Certain William Cockey late of the County &
       Province af.d Planter son & Heir at Law to William Cockey
       of the County & Province af.d Planter deced who died intestate
       of the one Part & John Brice of the County & Province af.d
