       their rights Members & Appurtenances unto & to the only proper
       Use & behoofe of the said Alexander Lawson his Heirs & Assignes for
       Ever And the said Philip Jones doth hereby for himself his Heirs
       Executors & Administrators Covenant & Agree to & with the said
       Alexander Lawson his Heirs & Assignes in Manner & form following
       (that is to say) that he the said Philip Jones hath not at any
       time or times heretofore ^made^ done or Committed or wittingly ^or willingly^ suffered
       and Act Matter cause or thing whatsoever whereby or wherewith
       or by reason or means whereof the said Hereby granted &
       Conveyed Premisses or any Part thereof is are shall or may be
       any ways Charged impeached or incumbred in title charge
       Estate or otherwise howsoever And also that he the said Philip
       Jones & his Heirs shall & will warrant & for Ever defend the said
       Hereby granted & Conveyed Premisses & every Part thereof unto
       the said Alexander Lawson his Heirs & Assignes against all
       Persons claiming under him or them but from no other
       Person or Persons whatsoever And further that the said
       Philip Jones or his Heirs shall & will upon the request Costs and
       Charges in the Law of the said Alexander Lawson his Heirs or Assignes
       make do & Execute or Cause to be made done & Executed unto him or
       them all such further Conveyances & Assurances in the Law for the
       further & better Granting & Conveying the said Premisses & every
       Part thereof unto the said Alexander Lawson his Heirs & Assignes
       for Ever So as in Such Grant & Conveyance be Contained no other Warrant
       or Covenant than is herein mentioned & Expressed And the said
       Philip Jones & his Heirs Estate & Interest therein only granted &
       Conveyed As by the said Alexander Lawson his Heirs or Assignes or
       his or their Councell Learned in the Law shall be reasonably devised
       advised or required In Witness whereof the said Philip Jones hath
       hereunto set his hand & Seal the Day & Year first above written
       Signed Sealed & Delivered
       in presence of                                             Philip Jones   Seal
             Robert Gordon
             W.m Ghiselin               On the back of the aforegoing Deed was
                            thus Endorst (Vizt)

       September 16.th 1741  Reced on the Day & Year first within written
