       flows to the Head which said Tree being the Second bounded Tree
       of a Tract of Land called ferrys Range and running thence North
       West twenty Perches thence North Eighty Degrees West forty nine
       Perches thence South East three Hundred & forty five perches
       thence North forty Degrees East fifty ^five^ Perches thence North twenty
       two Degrees East twenty Perches thence North twenty four Perches
       thence West Eighty Six Perches thence by a Direct Line to the
       first bounded Trees Containing and then laid out for Seventy
       four Acres of Land more or Less according to the Certificate of
       Survey thereof taken and returned into the Land Office bearing
       Date the ninth Day of July Seventeen Hundred & thirty three
       there remaining together with all Rights Profits Benefits &
       Priviledges thereunto belonging (Royal Mines Excepted) To
       Hold unto the said Philip Jones his Heirs and Assigns for Ever
       under such Provisoes Conditions Payments and Limitations
       as are therein particularly mentioned & Express expressed as
       by the said Letters pattent may (Relation being thereunto be
       more fully and at Large appear Now this Indenture
       Witnesseth that the said Philip Jones for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of thirty five pounds Current Money of the
       said Province of Maryland to him in hand at or before the
       Sealing & Executing of these Presents well & truly paid by
       the said Alexander Lawson the Receipt whereof is hereby
       acknowledged hath Granted Bargained Sold Aliened
       Released & Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Grant bargain
       sell alien release & Confirm unto the said Alexander All that the
       said recited Tract or Parcell of Land called Bread & Cheese Mill lying
       & being in Baltimore County af.d Between the Head of Bare
       Creek & a branch called Bread & Cheese branch & joyning to both
       Together with all rights Profitts Benefits Priviledges Hereditaments
       & Appurtenances thereunto belonging (Royal Mines
       Excepted) And also all the Estate right title Interest Property
       Profit benefit Advantage claim & Demand whatsoever both
       in Law & Equity of him the said Philip Jones or his Heirs of
       in & to the same or any Part thereof together with the said
       recited Pattent & all other Writings belonging to the said Premisses
       To have & to hold the said Tract or Parcell of Land hereby mentioned
       or intended to be granted & Conveyed with their & every of
