       Andrew Minitree my heirs Executors Administrators and Assignes for ever
       & to and for no Other use Intent or Purpose whatsoever & the Said Jacob
       Andrew Minitree the Said Negroes to the Said Elizabeth Minitree her heirs
       Executors Adm.rs and Assignes to the Uses & Purposes af.d against all Persons
       Whatsoever will Warrant & for ever Defend by these Presents In witness
       whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this Sixteenth Day of August
       Anno Domini 1740
       Sealed & Delivered                                          Jacob Andrew Minitree   seal
       in the Presence of              On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was
          Robert Gordon               thus Endorst vizt
          Richard Burdus              Augs.t 16.th 1740    Then Came the within Named
                                             Jacob Andrew Minitree & Acknowledged the within
                                         Deed of Gift to be his Act and Deed for the uses Intents
4                            & Purposes therein mentioned                           Robert Gordon

          This Indenture made this Nineteenth Day of June Anno
       Domini one thousand Seven hundred & forty Between Richard Johns
       & Margarett his wife of Calvert County and Province of Maryland Gentleman
       of the one Part & Martin Fisher of the County of Ann Arundell and Said
       Province Carpenter & Joyner of the Other Part Whereas Nehemiah
       Birkhead late of Ann Arundell County deceased by his last and will
       Testament did give & bequeath unto his Daughter Margaret the Now wife
       of the Said Richard Johns one hundred & fifty Six Acres of Land w.th he the
       Said Nehemiah Birkhead bought of Abraham Birkhead relation to
       the said Will being had will fully appear Now this Indenture
       Witnesseth that the said Richard Johns & Margaret his wife for
       & in Consideration of the Sum of Ninety Two Pounds Sterling money of
       England to him the said Richard in hand paid or Secured to be paid by the
       Said Martin Fisher the receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and
       thereof doth exonerate Acquit & Discharge the said Martin Fisher his
       heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs forever Hath given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened
       Enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these Presents doth give grant Bargain
       Sell Alliean Enfeoffe & Confirm unto the said Martin Fisher all that
