       Assignes doth hereby Covenant Promise & agree to & with the said
       Gerrard Hopkins his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assignes that he the said Henry
       Chew his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assignes shall & will at the reasonable request
       & Cost & Charges in the Law of the said Gerrard Hopkins his Heirs Executors
       Adm.rs or Assignes make do & legally Execute all & every Such Lawfull &
       reasonable Assurance or Conveyance or other Instrument of Writing
       for the further assuring & Conveying the hereby Granted Land and
       Premisses unto the said Gerrard Hopkins his Heirs Executors Adm.rs and
       Assignes As by the said Gerrard Hopkins or his or their Council in the
       Law shall be reasonably advised or required And finally the said Henry
       Chew for himself his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assignes the Land & Premisses
       af.d according to the meets & bounds af.d unto the said Gerrard Hopkins
       his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assignes for Ever hereafter ^against^ all manner of Person or
       Persons Claims of what Nature or kind soever to warrant & defend
       save only what shall hereafter arise & become due & payable to his
       Lordship the Lord Propry of this Province for Quit Rents of the said three
       hundred & Eighty Acres of Land In Testimony whereof the said Henry
       Chew to these Presents hath Interchangeably set his hand & Seal the
       Day & Year first above written                  Henry   Seal   Chew
       Signed Sealed & Delivered      On the back of the aforegoing Deed was
       in the Presence of Us               thus Endorst (Vizt) Received of the within
             Robert Gordon               mentioned Gerrard Hopkins the Sum of
             Gerrard Hopkins Jun.r   One hundred & twenty three Pounds Sterling
                                  Money being the Consideration Money for the
       within mentioned Land & Premisses & is in full Satisfaction for the
       same               per me                                       Henry Chew
       Testes Robert Gordon            Maryland fs.t On the 30.th Day of July 1740
       Gerrard Hopkins Jun.r         Came the within named Henry Chew
                        before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the
       Provincial Court who acknowledged the within Instrument to be his
       own Act & Deed & the Land & Premisses therein mentioned now to be
       the Right of the within named Gerrard Hopkins his Heirs & Assignes
       for Ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed
