       said Will may more at large appear And for as much as William
       Holland last mentioned did by a Deed of Sale Dated the twentieth
       day of September Seventeen hundred & thirty Nine absolutely
       transfer & Convey the Land & Premisses af.d unto the af.d Henry Chew
       Party to these Presents his Heirs & Assignes for Ever as per said Deed
       may further appear Now this Indenture further Witnesseth that the
       said Henry Chew one of the Parties to this Deed for & in Consideration
       of the Sum of One hundred & Twenty three Pounds Sterling to him
       in hand Paid by Gerrard Hopkins af.d before the Ensealing & delivery
       of these Presents ^the^ Receipt whereof He the said Henry Chew doth
       hereby acknowledge & himself to be fully satisfyed & Paid Hath
       bargained Sold set over Confirmed & Conveyed & by these Presents doth
       Grant bargain sell set over Confirm & Convey unto the said Gerrard
       Hopkins his Heirs & Assignes for Ever three hundred & Eighty Acres of
       Land the same being Part of the Tract called Batchellors Good Luck
       af.d Beginning at a Burnt Stump & running thence East & by
       North three hundred & five Perches then South & by East One hundred
       & Seventy two Perches then South Seventy one Degrees West
       Sixty Perches then South Eighty Degrees West Twenty Six Perches
       then South forty three Degrees West Eight Perches then South forty
       Six Degrees West thirty Six Perches then West two hundred twenty
       one Perches then North West thirty four Perches then North thirty
       Degrees East Seventy Two Perches then North thirty Degrees
       West Seventy Two Perches & then with a Streight line to the beginning
       burnt Stump Containing & now laid out for three hundred
       & Eighty Acres more or less Together with all & Singular the Edifices
       Improvements benefits & Advantages whatsoever to the said
       three hundred & Eighty Acres of Land af.d belonging or in any
       wise thereto appertaining To have and to hold the Land and
       Premisses af.d & every Part & Parcell thereof with their & every of
       their Appurtenances unto the said Gerrard Hopkins his Heirs &
       Assignes for Ever And to no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever
       And the said Henry Chew for himself his Heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs and
