Ex.d  This Indenture made this twenty fifth Day of July in the Year of
       our Lord Seventeen hundred & forty Between Daniel Dulany of
       Annapolis Esq.r and Charles Carroll of the same Place Surgeon of
       the one part and Nathaniel Palmer of Chester Town in Kent
       County merchant of the other part Witnesseth that the said Dan.l
       Dulany & Charles Carroll for & in Consideration of the Sum of
       One hundred & fifty Pounds Sterling to them in hand paid by the
       said Nathaniel Palmer the Receipt whereof they hereby acknowledge
       & him the said Nathaniel thereof & therefrom do acquit
       Have Granted bargained Sold & by these Presents do grant bargain
       & sell unto the said Nathaniel Palmer All their ^right^ title interest
       Property Claim and Demand of in & to all that Lott or Portion
       of Ground in Chester Town af.d now in the Tenure & occupation
       of the said Nathaniel Palmer together with the Mansion
       house or Messuage thereon Erected & all other Buildings Improvements
       Profits Comodities & Advantages thereunto belonging
       which was lately the Estate of Richard Hill of London Town
       Surgeon & was by one or more deed or Deeds by the said Richard
       Hill duely Executed acknowledged and recorded sold & Conveyed to
       John Galloway & by the Same John Galloway by Deed of bargain
       & Sale duely Executed & recorded sold & Conveyed among other things
       to the said Daniel Dulany & Charles Carroll as by the Same deeds
       remaining on Record in the Secretarys Office relation being to
       them had may appear To have and to hold to him the said
       Nathaniel Palmer his Heirs & Assignes for Ever to his & their
       own use & none other Use or Purpose whatsoever And the said
       Daniel Dulany & Charles Carroll for themselves and their Heirs
       do Covenant And agree to & with the said Nathaniel Palmer his
       Heirs & Assignes that they the said Daniel Dulany & Charles
       Carroll will make or Execute any further or other Deed or Conveyance
       which shall be advised devised or required by the said
       Nathaniel Palmer his Heirs or Assignes or his or their Council
       learned in the Law at the Proper Cost & Charge of the said Nath.l
       Palmer his Heirs or Assignes for the better & more Effectual
