116) Adventure Surveyed for Daniel Welsh in or about the Year Sixteen hundred & Eighty Eight & by the said Daniel or his Heirs Conveyed to a Certain Otho Holland & by the said Otho to a Certain Henry Bateman and by the said Henry to Samuel Peele Brother to the said William Party to these Presents scituate lying and being in Baltimore County between Gwinns Falls & Jone's Falls of Patapsco River bounded as followeth Beginning at a bounded White Oak standing at the Head of a branch called the North East branch of the three branched Pond & running thence down the branch South five Degrees East One hundred and twenty ^Eight^ Perches unto a bounded red Oak then West five Degrees South One hundred & twenty Eight Perches unto a bounded White Oak then North five Degrees West One hundred & twenty Eight Perches unto a Double bounded red Oak so with a streight line to the first bounded Tree Containing & laid out for One hundred & two Acres of Land more or less and also all that Lott of Land lying in Baltimore Town in Baltimore County af.d Number 38 Which James Jackson of Baltimore County Planter by his Deed of bargain and Sale bearing Date the Twelfth Day of December Seventeen hundred & thirty & now inrolled amongst the Records of Baltimore ^County^ Conveyed to the abovenamed Samuel Peele To have and to hold the same Tract or Parcell of Land together with the Lot Number thirty Eight af.d with all & Singular the right Members Priviledges and appurtenances to the said Tract of Land & Lott af.d belonging or any wise appertaining to him the said Edward Fottrell his Heirs & Assignes for Ever & to no other use intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said William Peele doth hereby Covenant Promise Grant & Agree to ^& with^ the said Edward Fottrell his Heirs Exors Adm.rs that the said Tract of Land & Lot af.d are clear & free from all Incumbrances whatsoever the Rent to the Lord Propry only Excepted And that he hath Good Right & absolute Authority to dispose of thereof in manner and form af.d & that he the said William Peele his Heirs Exors & Adm.rs the said Tract of Land and Lot af.d to him the said Edward Fottrell his Heirs Exors Adm.rs and Assignes shall and will Warrant & for Ever defend against all manner of Persons whatsoever In Witness whereof the said W.m Peele hath hereunto set his hand & seal the Day & Year first above written W.m Seal Peele On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst Vizt Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of Robert Gordon John Vaughan November 27.th 1739 Reced the Sum of One hundred Pounds Cur.t of Edward Fottrell being the Consideration Money within mentioned Test M Macnemara W.m Peele Edw.d Rummey (Nov.r) |
