115) London to wit William Hordley Clerk to William Tudman of Birchin Lane in the Parish of Saint Edmund the King And Martyr London Notary Publick maketh Oath that on the Twelfth Day of this Instant September he this Deponant and Samuel Tudman were Present & did see William Woodward Benjamin Baron Elizabeth Baron Mary Holmes Cornelius Kehown and Sarah Kehown by the several Stiles & titles of William Woodward Citizen & Goldsmith of London Benjamin Baron Citizen and Upholder of London and Elizabeth his Wife Mary Holmes of the Parish of S.t Mary Newington Butts in the County of Surry Widow and Cornelius Kehown Citizen and Barber Surgeon of London & Sarah his Wife Severall sign Seal and as their Several Act and Deed in due form of Law Execute and Deliver the Original Paper Writing Procuration or Letter of Attorney hereunto annexed to & for the Uses Intents & Purposes therein mentioned & that in Testimony of Such Execution the said Samuel Tudman & this Deponant did Severally Sign or Subscribe their Names as Witnesses to the said Original Procuration or Letter of Attorney as thereby may appear Sworn the thirteenth Day of September 1738 Will.m Hordley Before me 1738 J W Barnard Mayor 13 sides Recorded Nov.r 22.d 1739 Alienation List made out & Fees Charged so far for the Year 1739 Ex.d This Indenture made this fifteenth Day of November in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and thirty Nine Between William Peele of Ann Arundell County Gent Elder Brother & Heir Law to Samuel Peele late of the said County dec.d of the one Part and Edward Fottrell of the City of Annapolis Gent of the other Part Witnesseth that the said William Peele for & in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred Pounds Current Money to him the said William in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said Edward Fottrell The Receipt whereof he doth hereby release acquit & for Ever discharge the said Edw.d his Heirs Extors & Adm.rs by these Presents hath given granted bargained sold aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth give grant bargain sell alien Enfeoffe & Confirm unto him the said Edward Fottrell All that Tract or Parcell of Land called Welshes (Adventure) |
