104 or Surveys and that he the said Edward and his Heirs shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter Warrant and for Ever defend the said Bargained Lands and Premisses to them the said Mess.rs Charles Carroll they or Either of them their or Either of their Heirs and Assignes claiming of by from or Under him or them as against all manner intent and Meaning of these Presents that in Case the said Edward Hall his Heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs shall and do well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto them the said Mess.rs Charles Carroll them or Either of them as Ex.rs of James Carroll af.d their or Either of their Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assignes at the Dwelling House of Charles Carroll Esq.r one of the said Parties in the City of Annapolis at or upon the twenty fourth Day of July which shall be in the Year of our Lord God One thousand Seven hundred and forty Two the Sum of Two hundred Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain as also on the twenty fourth Day of July Yearly and Every Year untill such Payment as aforesaid at the House af.d pay and satisfye unto them the said Mess.rs Charles Carroll or Either of them their or Either of their Executors Adm.rs or Assignes the Sum of Twelve Pounds Sterling being the Lawfull Interest of and on the said Principal and likewise duely pay or Cause to be paid Yearly and Every Year the Chief or Quit Rents of the said Lands unto the Lord Proprietary or his Heirs that then and from thenceforth this Present Indenture of Bargain and Sale shall cease Determine and be utterly Void & of None Effect to all Intents Constructions and Purposes any thing in these Presents Contained to the Contrary thereof ^in anywise^ notwithstanding In Witness whereof and the foregoing Premisses the said Parties have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written Sealed and Delivered the foregoing Edw Hall Seal Deed Consisting of two Sheets of Paper in Presence of Mary Thorpe Tho.s Musprate At the foot of which aforegoing Deed was as follows (Viz.t) July 23.d 1739 Received of Mess.rs Charles Carroll the Sum of Two hundred Pounds Sterling being the Consideration Money within mentioned I say received P me Edw Hall Witness Mary Thorpe July 23.d 1739 Tho.s Musprate Then Came before Robert Gordon Esq.r one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Edward Hall of Baltemore County Gent Party to the aforegoing Deed & acknowledged the |
