105 the Same and the Land and Premisses therein Granted and Sold to be the right and Estate of Mess.rs Charles Carroll of Annapolis this or either of ^them^ their or either of their Heirs and Assigns for Ever according to the Act in that Case made and Provided Robert Gordon Recorded July 24.th 1739 16 Sides Vide Release of the aforegoing Mortgage Recorded in folio 498 Ex.d Maryland fs.t Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron or Baltimore & Whereas Diederick William Bodeker of Baltimore County being a Native of Germany hath petitioned our Trusty and Well beloved Samuel Ogle Esq.r our Governor of our said Province for a Pattent of Naturalization to be to the said Diederick William Bodeker granted Pursuant to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and provided And Whereas the said Diederick William Bodeker hath taken the several Oaths to the Government perscribed by Act of Assembly and hath subscribed the Oath of Abjuration repealed and Subscribed the Test according to Law Now Know Yee that We have given and Granted and by Virtue of these Presents and by force of the Act of Assembly in Such Cases made and provided do give and grant unto the said Diederick William Bodeker all the same Rights Priviledges Advantages Immunities Liberties and Franchises whatsoever of his Majestys Subjects born within this Province To have hold and Enjoy the same Rights Priviledges Advantages Immunities Liberties and Franchises to the said Diederick WIlliam Bodeker as fully & amply to all Intents Constructions and Purposes whatsoever as if the said Diederick William Bodeker was born within this Province And We do further Grant unto the said Diederick William Bodeker that he may have and challenge all the Rights Priviledges Advantages Immunities Liberties and Franchises as any of his Majestys Subjects born within this Province now have or hereafter may Enjoy In Testimony whereof We have caused these our Letters to be made Pattent Witness the said Samuel Ogle this 18.th Day of August in the 25.th Year of our Dominion &c Annoq Dom 1739 J Ross Cl Cour Sam Ogle 2 1/2 Recorded Sept.r 5.th 1739 Ex.d On the Tenth Day of April Anno Dom 1739 before me Samuel Martyn Notary and Tabellion Publick dwelling in London by Royal Authority duly admitted & Sworn and in the Presence of the Witness hereafter (named) |
