97 Maryland 17.th August 1732 Then Came before us the subscribers Rich.d Francis and Onorio Razolini the subscribing evidences to the within Bond and made Oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that they saw the within Bound Charles Calvert Benjamin Tasker and Charles Carroll Esq.r signe Seal and Deliver the same as their Act and Deed which securitys are approved of by us and the Bond Ordered to be Recorded Agreeable to an Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided Ch.a Hammond Robert Gordon 4 sides x.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made the second day of September Anno Domini one Thousand seven hundred and thirty two between Charles Ridgely of Baltemore County Planter on the one Part and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Chyrurgeon on the other part Witnesseth that the said Charles Ridgly for and In Consideration of the sume of Thirty five pounds Current money of Maryland to him In hand paid att and before the Ensealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt ^whereof^ he doeth hereby acknowledge and thereof doeth acquitt and Discharge him the said Charles Carroll his heirs Executors and administrators Hath given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and doeth fully and absolutely by these presents give grant bargain sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns for ever all that part of a tract of Land Called the Rich Neck scituate Lying and being in Baltemore County on Patapsco River adjoining to Wallnut Neck that is to say Beginning att the beginning Trees of the said Rich Neck and Runs S.o twenty three Degrees East thirty two Perches South Twenty three Degrees West twelve perches S.o Eighty ^two^ Degrees West fifty perches to a tract of land Called Walnut neck then Northwest one hundred and forty perches North East Eight perches to a branch then Down the branch North Eighty five Degrees East Eleven perches South forty ^nine deg.s^ East Sixteen perches S.o seventy ^one deg.rs Eighteen p.s S.o forty seven deg.s East sixteen p.r S.o thirty nine deg.s East thirteen pch.s fifty deg.s East Nineteen pch.s South^ East ^forty degrees East^ fourteen perches N.o seventy ^nine deg.s^ East seventeen perches N.o seven ^deg.s^ East twelve perches North Eighty two ^deg.s^ East twenty six perches then by the branch to the first trees Containing thirty five acres and fifty Eight perches together with all and singular the houses fencing Orchards and other Appurtenances thereon or thereto in any ways belonging and Appurtaining To have & to hold the said land and premisses as before recited to him the said Charles Carroll his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Charles Ridgley Doeth for himself |
