       Memorandum on the Back of the foregoing Commission ^Is^ written
       as followeth Viz.t

          1.st June 1732 Then Came Charles Calvert and took the Oaths
       to the Government appointed to be taken by Act of Assembly and subscribed
       the Oath of Abjuration and Test according to the Directions of the said
       Act before me                                                Sam Ogle

       Maryland fs.t   Know all Men by these Presents that we Charles
       Calvert Benjamin Tasker and Charles Carrol of the City of Annapolis
       Esq.rs are held and firmly bound unto the Right Honourable the Lord
       Proprietary of this province in the full and just sum of One Thousand pounds
       Current Money to be paid to his said Lordship his heirs and Successors to the
       Which payment well and truly to be made We bind our selves and Every of us
       our and every of our heirs Executors and Adm.rs joyntly and severally for the
       whole and in the whole firmly by these Presents sealed with our Seals and
       Dates the 17.th Day of August Anno Domini 1732

                         The Condition of the above Obligation is Such that
       if the above bound Charles Calvert during his Continuance in the Office
       of Commissary General shall at his own proper Cost and Charges find a
       supply of good and Sufficient Record Books necessary for the entring up
       up of all Matters and things relating to such Commissarys Office and
       shall Duely and carefully Look after preserve and Maintain all the
       Severall Books of Records now being and remaining in the s.d Office
       as also those that from time to time shall be a deed thereto in such Manner
       as that when he shall be Dismissed from Officiateing Longer in the said
       Office he shall deliver all the afd Records to the next person that Succeeds
       in the said Office in good order and Repair According to the True Intent
       and Meaning of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided that
       Then the above written Obligation to be Void and of no Effect Otherwise
       to Remain in full force and Virtue                        Cha Calvert      seal
