98 His Heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant and
agree to and with him the said Charles Carroll that att the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents he the said Charles Ridgly hath good right full power and lawfull Authority to Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm the aforesaid bargained Premisses and that from this time forward and att all times hereafter the said Charles Carroll his heirs and assigns shall stand seized of A good and sure Estate in fee simple of in and to the said bargained Premisses with the Appurtenances and the said Charles Ridgly Doeth for himself his heirs Executors & Administrators further Covenant grant and agree to and with the said Charles Carroll that In Case he the said Charles Carroll his Heirs or Assigns shall at any time hereafter be lawfully Evicted out of the aforesaid bargained premisses or any part or parcell thereof and ^that^ then he the said Charles Ridgely his heirs Executors & Administrators shall and will pay unto him the Charles Carroll his heirs or assigns the said sume of thirty five pounds Current money or in proportion for any part of the said premisses which shall or may ^so^ be recovered against him or them as also his or their reasonable Costs and Charges in the Law and that he the said Charles Ridgely shall and will warrant and ^for ever^ defend forever ^the same^ against ^him^ the said Charles Ridgely or any other of by from or under him Claiming In Wittness whereof the parties to these presents have Inter Changeably sett their hands and seals the Day and year first above written Charles seal Ridgely On the back of the foregoing Deed was Thus Indorst Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of Robert Gordon James Gordon Sep.tr 2.d 1732 Received of Doctor Charles Carroll the sume of thirty five pounds Current money £ 55 being the Consideration within mentioned Witness Charles Ridgely Robert Gordon James Gordon Maryland September the second 1732 Then Came before me one of his Lordships Justices of the provinciall Court of the Province of Maryland the W.thin named Charles Ridgly and acknowledged the within deed and that the land and Premisses therein Mentioned is the right and Estate of Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns for ever According to the act in that Case made and provided Recorded 16 Sept.r 1732 Robert Gordon 7 Sides |
