93 x.d This Indenture Made the fifteenth Day of August in the Year of our Lord God One Thousand Eleven hundred and Thirty Two Between James Crouch of Ann Arundell County in the province of Maryland planter of the one Part and John Orrick of the same County and province afd Planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said James Crouch for and in Consideration of the sum of sixteen pounds sterling money to him in hand paid by the said John Orrick at and before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he the said James Crouch doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom Doth Clearly Acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said John Orrick his heirs Executors and Administrators and hath given Granted bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto the said John Orrick his heirs and Assigns for ever all that Tract or Parcell of Land called Rich Neck lying in Baltemore County in the Province aforesaid Beginning at four bounded Chesnutt Trees standing on a Hill side near a Glade called the Cattail Glade descending into the South side of Gwinns falls and running in the said Glade North Sixty Deg.rs West One hundred and twenty perches then South twenty Degrees West forty Eight perches then South Thirty Deg.rs East forty perches then South forty seven Deg.rs West forty pches then North fifty Degrees West forty pches then South Sixty five Deg.rs West thirty four pches then North Seventy Deg.rs West forty Six pches then South forty pches then South fifty Deg.rs East forty pches then East Sixty perches then North seventy seven and a half Deg.rs East one hundred and twenty one pches then by a Direct Line to the first bounded Trees Containing and now laid out for One hundred Acres of Land More or less Together with all the ways passages woods and underwoods Timber and timber Trees Water and water Courses whatsoever and all other the Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold the said Land and all and singular the Premisses with the appurtenances as aforesaid to him the said John Orrick his heirs and assigns and to his and their Only Proper use and behoofe for ever and the said James Crouch Doth hereby further promise Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the said John Orrick his heirs and assigns that he and they shall and may peaceably and Quietly have hold use occupy possess and enjoy the said Tract of Land with all the appurtenances for ever without the least Let hindrance Mollestation Suit Eviction or Ejection of him the said James Crouch his heirs Executors Adm.rs or of any person lawfully by from or under him them or any of them and also that he the said James Crouch will for ever Warrant and Defend the said Tract of Land with all the appurtenances abovesaid against him self his heirs Executors Adm.rs and any person Claiming as aforesaid to the only proper use and behoofe of him the said John Orrick his heirs and Assigns In Witness whereof the said James Crouch hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the Day and Year above written James Crouch seal |
